Powerbase Magnetic Welding Ground 500 Amps

A Stronghand Tools USA magnet, this magnetic earth clamp is great for fast application to your work surface. Inside of the Powerbase Magnetic Earth is a powerful rare earth magnet. This unit is rated to 500 Amps welding current and has a magnetic pull force of 50 kilograms. The copper bolt stud allows the high ampergage welding current to transfer to the copper base plate and make excellent low resistance connectivity to the workpiece via the V Groove nickel plated bottom. V Grooves allow the use of this grounding magnet on irregular surfaces and round objects such as pipes.

There is an on/off selector fitted to the power base grounding magnet that allows the operator to shut off the magnetic force for easy removal, cleaning and storage.
